April + Darryl | Toronto Engagement Part 2

April and Darryl’s Toronto engagement session was extra awesome and super fun to shoot! This was not a typical one location session as they both live in Winnipeg (Darryl originally from Toronto) and wanted to capture as much as they could of the city. We walked and TTC to multiple landmarks such as City Hall, Yonge Dundas Square, Union Station, Air Canada Centre and finished off at the Rogers Centre before attending the game that evening. You can see them in their Jays jersey photos outside of the Rogers Centre in my previous post here. Thanks again for treating me to some delicious Thai food from Pai! Enjoy the photos!

Distillery District Surprise Proposal

Contacted, planned and executed flawlessly within 96 hours was Mitchell’s surprise proposal to Ashley at the Distillery District in Toronto. The evening of the proposal Mitchell left a note for Ashley at home instructing her to meet him at the Distillery. She read the note and was quickly on her way down and this is how it went down visually. If you like to see more proposals I’ve photographed in the past click here.

Last Tuesday marked a very special day for Debbie and Stimson. It was their 15th year anniversary and to celebrate they got married. It wasn’t your traditional wedding and there was no guest, it was just the two of them. They had a beautiful intimate and private ceremony and reception at the George Restaurant on Queen Street in Toronto. Being one of their exclusive vendor guest aka photographer duties was such an honour. Congrats again Debbie and Stimson, you both looked amazing! Had an amazing time at Mari and Alex’s wedding and experienced some of the best Georgian food ever! They had a small beautiful intimate wedding at the Holland Marsh Winery in Newmarket followed by their reception with family and friends at the Suliko Restaurant in Toronto. I’m also really happy I got to document their special day because now I can cross out shooting weddings for both twin sisters off my bucket list!
