A few months ago I finally got to meet Dannese and Richard for their engagement session and it couldn’t have gone better! We spent the afternoon at Casa Loma and Dannese had on two spectacular dresses, one pink and one hot red which she rocked beautifully. As for Richard he was as cool as 007 with his Bond girl, kind of reminded me of the movie Casino Royal. I think what I loved most about them is how chill they are, super fun and easygoing. Can’t wait to hang out with them again for the wedding!

Karen and Frankie’s engagement session took place at the beautiful University of Toronto grounds on a nice and sunny summer day. We completed the session inside Knox College for its gothic architecture inside after a quick change of clothes. Here are some of my favorites from their session!

Last month I had the chance to spend an evening with Pierre and Matthew plus their two little dogs. Our adventure of an engagement session brought us to Scarborough Heights Park since our first location at the Scarborough Bluffs was totally full to capacity and crowded. This was an extremely well planned session by them with many unique props which I loved and their vintage style look was totally on point. I can’t wait to see them again this Fall for their big day! Here’s some of my favourites from their session, enjoy!

April and Darryl’s Toronto engagement session was extra awesome and super fun to shoot! This was not a typical one location session as they both live in Winnipeg (Darryl originally from Toronto) and wanted to capture as much as they could of the city. We walked and TTC to multiple landmarks such as City Hall, Yonge Dundas Square, Union Station, Air Canada Centre and finished off at the Rogers Centre before attending the game that evening. You can see them in their Jays jersey photos outside of the Rogers Centre in my previous post here. Thanks again for treating me to some delicious Thai food from Pai! Enjoy the photos!

Spent an amazing and fun filled evening with Sida and Colin shooting their engagement photos at the University of Toronto. Even though it was a bit chilly they did really well as you can see the results were beautiful. Looking forward to their big day this month, enjoy the photos!

I’ve been itching to show off these shots from Karyn and Ryan’s engagement session for the longest time and since they’ll be getting hitched this weekend, today is the perfect time! I’m not behind the cameras for this wedding but will be suiting up in a tuxedo next to my good friend Ryan! Enjoy their session from the cottage, they both love fishing and is one of their favourite summer pastimes!

Contacted, planned and executed flawlessly within 96 hours was Mitchell’s surprise proposal to Ashley at the Distillery District in Toronto. The evening of the proposal Mitchell left a note for Ashley at home instructing her to meet him at the Distillery. She read the note and was quickly on her way down and this is how it went down visually. If you like to see more proposals I’ve photographed in the past click here.
Mitchell checking his phone to see how close Ashley was via a Uber map.
Ashley is en route to the Distillery.
Mitchell eagerly awaits for her arrive.
Ashley arrives! Will let the photos tell the story from here on. Enjoy!

Shayan contacted me last September to help him take photos during his surprise proposal to his girlfriend Niusha. He found me via Google because I had done another proposal at Yonge-Dundas Square where he was going to do his also. In addition to having it at the Square he rented two of the LCD screens there to play a slideshow he made which I thought was pretty cool. So Shayan and I meet up the morning of the proposal on location to finalize all the logistics and I walked him through where they should be. Later that evening as planned they arrived 10 minutes before 8pm when I started to take photos of them from about a distances of 30 – 40 metres away to the build up of their proposal. Below are some of my favourite candid moments leading up to their proposal and their epic classic heel kicking kissing photo in the middle of the Square to end of the session! Enjoy! If you like to see more proposals I’ve photographed in the past click here.
Enjoying a street performance before it was time to propose.
A quick time check from the big LCD screens then off to the designated proposal location.
Arrived to the spot exactly at 8pm and asked Niusha to look at the LCD screen.
She was surprised to she herself on the big screen.
One of two LCD screens used for the proposal.
Enjoying their lovely moment together. (One screen each lol)
He then takes her hand before the last slide appears…
…and goes down on one knee to proposal.

A group of people pass by right after and cheered them on and congratulated them.

Showing off her new ring to the camera.

We took a few photos with a close friend who was present to witness the special occasion.
