Here’s something a little different today, a Fall engagement session with Lisa and Blair at one of my favourite parks in Toronto, High Park! I took this set for them way back last year and although it started to rain near the end we still made it work! With their wedding coming up in a few short days, I anticipate nothing short of another stunningly beautiful set from these two. See you both real soon!
Jessica + Tony | Toronto Zoo Family Session

Documented a special surprise for one of my past brides Jessica last month. Jessica reached out to me for a surprise photo shoot for her husband Tony and son Quinton at the Toronto Zoo for their 5th year wedding anniversary. Tony was unaware of me taking photos of him before enter the Toronto Zoo and not until he finally spotted me inside after entering the gates. He thought I was on assignment with another couple but in fact I was there for them. Thanks once more for allowing me to document such a great milestone for your family that day. Engagement sessions are amazing. It’s the greatest opportunity for me to get to know my couples before their big day. For many couples, it’s their first official photoshoot so they all dress up and get hair and makeup done for an evening of adventure just like Rebecca and Jonathan. For their session we wandered and explored Unionville Main Street and Toogood Pond taking in the nice scenery and of course taking some of these insanely gorgeous photos below. Joyce + Brian | Guild Inn Estate Wedding

Featured on the blog today are some of my favourite photos from Joyce and Brian’s wedding from the new Guild Inn Estate venue in Scarborough. Brian and his groomsmen started their day off with some exciting Chinese door games before he was allow to see Joyce then followed by two traditional tea ceremonies. For their portrait session we had them taken at the beautiful Guildwood Park and Gardens next to the wedding venue where we also did the first look. The rest of the evening was fantastic with lots of fun and games and even a late night poutine station. I had a wonderful evening wandering the streets of downtown Toronto with Jessica and Raymond capturing some beautiful moments for their engagement session earlier this summer. We started off at Graffiti Alley followed by the Liberty Village area for our final shoots. Can’t believe were well into Fall now plus only a week away from their wedding! I had a wonderful time shooting Denise and Tim’s wedding earlier this year. Their photos from University of Toronto came out flawlessly with the amazing light we had late afternoon just before the rain arrived. A super chill day strolling through Woodbine Beach earlier this summer with Joyce and Brian and a good thing we waited for the best day for the session. Sunnier day equals to beautiful blue skies and water for some gorgeous photos at the beach!
